This course is designed to meet the needs of teachers, teaching Numicon Levels 3 - 6 (Phases 2 and 3) Middle and Senior School Teachers : Learn How to Plan, Teach and Assess Effectively Using Numicon - follow a unit of work through each of the lessons - experience the development of key mathematical knowledge and ideas through the step-by-step, explicit teaching steps - learn when and how to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all your learners from whole class beginnings - work through a unit of work lesson by lesson - following the explicit teaching - Interactive Whiteboard ( IWB) - understand when and how to use the additional resources eg Explore ore, Explorer Progress, Problem Solving Books - Complete the milestone assessments and use the Numicon tracking document to record student progress.
