BREAKING BARRIERS - Rotorua

This course with Catherine and Anita will show you how to support Tier 3 learners who are operating in Pre-phase 1/ phase 1 of the NZC and need 1-1 or small group guidance. This course will be based on Numicon Breaking Barriers. You will learn how to use this programme and use equipment that encourages discovery, understanding and application of maths in everyday life. You will increase your own knowledge of mathematics. This course is suitable for TAs, teachers, SENCOs, LSCs and RTLBs. Morning tea will be supplied. Bring your own lunch. *please note - there is another course running in Rotorua tomorrow. It is aimed at Tier 2, Year 6+ students with gaps in maths. Why not attend both? There are 2 course options.
